Summary:n Under limited supervision, performs a variety of activities in support of a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Uses software for functional area to schedule appointments and document in the case management systems. Compiles and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service at all customer touch points.n Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: nnAnswer phones from automated call distribution systemnTriage daily download of referrals and ensure appropriate worksheets are assigned to corresponding conditions as identified by Veteran's AdministrationnVerify appropriate CPT and CLIN codes are assigned to each casenCommunicate directly with claimants and providersnObtain medical history for specific conditionsnDetermine appropriate examinations, tests and specialists required for each casenSchedule appointments for examinees including follow-up appointments and rescheduled appointmentsnEnsure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentationnConfirm consultative reports and diagnostic test results are received in a timely mannernMeet or exceed contract timeliness guidelines in both the scheduling and case management systemsnOther projects and duties as assignednn Competencies:nnProven ability to plan and organize work loadnAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced work environmentnGood follow through skillsnMust possess the ability and flexibility to work early morning, evening, and/or weekend shiftsnn Education and/or

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
